Safety is paramount to us, and so it should be. Here are a few tips & suggestions for you to utilise to help maintain a safe and enjoyable experience for both seller and viewer. Once
you have been contacted be a prospective buyer who is interested in viewing your home, keep a note of their details. Choose a mutually agreeable date and time for the viewing.

Then follow these steps:

1.

Tell a friend or family member of the date and time of the visit and the name of the person viewing. If you can, try to ensure that your partner, or a friend, or a family member is in the house with you during the viewing.

2.

Don’t allow large groups into your home. This is the general practice, so we suggest no more than 2-3 adults, and maybe one or two of the viewer’s children.

3.

Prepare your house in line with the preparation guide, don’t leave valuables or sensitive information out on display.

4.

Once you’re acquainted with your viewers, set the agenda, and tell them that you will give them the tour, starting in the main entrance area. Let them go first and follow.

5.

Give the viewers some space to look around but within reason. Do what feels right to you.

6.

Once finished see the viewers out.
