What’s the Process?
At krib we put you, the seller, in the driving seat with the ability to successfully market and sell your own home without the need for expensive Fees, whilst being included in the whole process.
Using our system is easy as six simple steps
The first step is to complete your seller’s profile and marketing template for your home. Once the details have been approved and the marketing fee paid, your property will appear as ‘For Sale’ on our search.
Your home is now visible to your prospective buyers. We recommend appointing a Solicitor/Conveyancer at this stage and opening a file with them for your property to prepare the legal pack for your sale without delay.
Once a buyer expresses interest in your property, they will send a message to you to arrange a viewing. You can then exchange messages directly with potential buyers and arrange viewings at a mutually convenient time.
When you receive an offer that you wish to accept, notify your solicitors and provide them with the buyer’s information. It is important not to take any payment personally at the property; all sales must go through a Solicitor/Conveyancer.
Once your solicitors are engaged, the purchase is underway. The buyer’s surveyor will conduct building surveys or valuations, and solicitors will exchange information, answer queries about your home, etc.
Once all parties are satisfied with surveys, valuations, queries, and potential dates, they will set a date for ‘Exchange of Contracts’ and finally ‘Completion.’
Our platform provides guidance and templates to help you market your home effectively. Once you have completed the setup for your property listing and paid for your advertising space, your property will be made live on our platform. Potential buyers will contact you via email with their details, and you can decide whether to accept their inquiry and arrange a viewing.
Our payment system is secure via PayPal, and all sales must be conducted through a qualified solicitor to ensure proper and legal handling. You have control over viewings, and you will receive the viewer’s information, enabling you to choose who views your property and when. There should be no exchange of money in person, and all transactions should be handled through your solicitor.
We offer transparent pricing with no hidden costs. Our flat fee for your marketing space and templates ensures that you pay only once per property listing until it is sold or the marketing period ends. The cost is Free for the first 6 moths and £650 per property listing thereafter.
Absolutely! While we offer a list of qualified regional options, you are free to use your preferred solicitor.
No, we are not an estate agent. We are a property marketing platform that offers advice and marketing space for private sales at a professional and affordable level.
If you are legally the owner or legally appointed to sell the property, you may sell it. You cannot sell a property you do not own or do not have the authority to sell.
